P90X- Kenpo X

Right. So on Friday I got to do Kenpo X.
Now, I've heard people say that this is their favorite workout. I have to say that I didn't enjoy it too much. I guess it's because I workout in a tiny dorm room and I can barely punch and kick without knocking something over! Plus, I'm rather uncoordinated so I feel very awkward when I have to do the jab-cross-hook-uppercut combos.

If I had to pick a favorite so far, it would be Core Synergistics or Cardio X. They kick my butt everytime and I feel so good when I finish! Like I accomplished something big!

But, I found out something encouraging today at church. My friend, Mark has been doing P90X for 40 days or something like that and he's lost so much weight and looking so trim! Now, Mark is a big guy, or was.. but he looks so great now and I know he doesn't follow the nutrition plan to the "T" because he's a college kid like me and it's hard to eat perfectly all the time. Seeing Mark makes me feel happy, knowing that I can continue on and see some awesome results, too. I may only be on my second week, but I'm determined to see it through to the 90 day mark!

Just thought I would share that motivating little bit with y'all.

    You're rocking to do P90X. It's a great system. If kickboxing doesn't work for you, find another tough cardio to do that day, and you'll still reap the P90X benefits!

    I HATE the KENPO X dvd. I LOVE the Plyo and Ab ripper though. I just DO NOT like any kick boxing. I can do step classes and other things but I feel SO uncoordinated with kick boxing.
