It's that time of year in Saskatchewan--the days are near 0C (32F) everyday. I can feel the warmth of the sun once again in the early afternoon. As I drive home from work at mid-afternoon, the edges of the highway are wet from melting snow. Now this doesn't mean we won't get one last blast of winter--and the farmers could use a really good dump of snow...but Spring is definitely on it's way!
Every time this y ear I make plans to really get out there and walk/run to lose some weight! My son does track and field and cross country running so every year I vow to train with him. Our driveway is 1/2 mile long so there and back is a mile--a good start. Every year I do it for a day or maybe two and then find a reason not to.
HOWEVER, I really, truly believe that this is my year! I've been motivated here on Spark (thanks all my teammates and friends) for two months now. I'm feeling strong and actually not hating exercise--definitely a first for me! Once I begin, in a week or two (I'll let you all know), I will be counting on you to hold me accountable!
I can really do this!!
