Adjusting our plans

Friday, February 26, 2010

Sometimes even our best plans have to be altered when circumstances beyond our control throw a monkey wrench in and upset our apple cart. The key is how we respond when things don't go our way.

Perhaps, you are different from me. When things don't go the way that I think they should, I tend to get frustrated. Like many in our country, the economy is forcing us to make some decsions that deter plans. I know we'll manage but it is still more than a little frutstrating.

Hopefully, you're able to do better than I do when it comes to dealing with the challenges that life throws your way.

I have had a few curve balls thrown my way as well. I do get frustrated but then I just step back, take a deep breath and look at my options to fix the current issue at hand.

I totally agree...It's not what happens to each one of us because sometimes life just happens, it's how we response is what really matters...adjust on the fly, call a new play...key is to keep moving forward. emoticon emoticon

Hi, I read your blog and just have to respond and let you know that you are a human with good and bad things on the inside of you and the outside of you, also, we are all alike in that matter. We are all good and bad insdide and out. Things happen to us that we have no control over, but, get over it. This is life and stuff happens and if you turn to the Lord God Jehova He will give you peace with every decision that you make. Just make sure that you keep loving God, love yourself and love everyone that is all around you and close to you. Love and walking in love and walking in the spirit and walking in the word of God conquers everything that life and the devil and his demons throw at us. Buck up, look up and know that your salvation draws nigh and just be ready for the great rapture of the church, the body of Christ and make sure that you keep yourself filled to over flowing in the Holy Spirit and never forget how much our Father God loves you personally. He is a personal God a one on one God. Go for the gold in the name of Jesus emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

I like your blog about adjusting your plans. The one thing that you can count on is that we do not always know what is on the other side of the mountain. God knows what is going to happen before we do. Yes, I agree with you about it being frustrating but there is nothing that we can do about it. All we can do is to pick up the pieces and keep going forward. I was 18 years old when my mother died and left me and my dad and my youngest brother. Other than being a daughter I had to be secretary, a mother to my younger brother and cook for my dad. I was not use to staying at home all the time and lucky for me I had graduated the previous year. I had to learn a lot of things. But it all came out good.
Sometimes our life gets so frustrating with the economy that there is nothing that we can do except to shout or to cry but God knows what we are going through and he is always by our side.
