Update...and some venting!

Okay so let's see where to begin...

Well I decided to take the week off from working out and I am kinda upset about that cause I know myself, I may not jump back onto the wagon on Monday and I HAVE to. BUT....the good news?

I have been losing weight still! I stepped onto the scale this morning and it read 133 and change. Since lent began I cut out all sweets and also the snacking. Not sure if is the combination of eating clean and haven built muscle is the reason, or the constant anxiety, but I will take it!

Update on the personal stuff...

1. So we moved on from the other house that we waited 3 MONTHS (ugh that gets me so mad) and we found a few houses. We put a bid on one house that was out of our range and they said No...which we expected but we had to try. And then we put a bid on our second choice and we have an acceptance! AND both bids only took 1.5 days...I have to recommend dealing with actual people and not the bank!

2. I took another assessment test for school and I passed!! I received an 87, definitely a lot better than that 69! I have to say that really was a great booster!

3. And of course still waiting on the government to get their act together, still no word about unemployment extension...gotta love how they drag their feet!

The wedding has taken a back seat since the first house was a flop. Getting nervous that I won't get everything done...and on top of it, if this house goes through, then we will be moving right before we have to head down to DE to finish up some more vendors for the wedding!!!

Lol my Fiancé and I keep joking that after the wedding we won't know what to will be done, the wedding will be done, the house will be done...So I guess it is only inevitable that babies are next!!! LOL....well once things settle down and finances are good then we can begin lol. Ok TMI!

I have to say I missed SP! I hope this house hunting is over and this house goes through. I need to get back on schedule since that keeps me sane! Any SP friends that are reading this, I hope everything is going well in your healthy and personal life!! emoticon emoticon emoticon

Thanks guys!! Now that things will settle back down with the house hunting I can obsess over SP again LOL...and for sure we will wait till we are definitely financially good to go, but he has a 6 yr old son and even he is dying for a brother or sister lol. But I think taking some time off to I dont know Breathe lol would be a good idea. Hopefully this house goes through so we can move on!!!

Yay on your bid being accepted! We're putting an offer in on Saturday. I can not WAIT for this house business to be over. Our realtors are beginning to be a real pain in the a**. They don't like the neighborhood we've settled on and so keep trying to convince us to wait, look at more houses - but we know what neighborhood we want to live in and that's the one! We'll see what they have to show us on Saturday, but we're putting an offer in no matter what (we already have two houses we love, but they keep trying to dissuade us). Have you had your new place inspected yet?

Good job on the test! I am so nervous to take mine after not being in school for 18 years. YIKES!

After all is done take some to be with your new hubby before having babies. Babies changes EVERYTHING! But, I LOVE babies. :)

    Have a great weekend!

I hope that this house was exactly what you were looking for! No worries! We are all here when you are ready to come visit SP. I am glad that this week is going well for you. Maybe a week off is just what you needed? emoticon

hmm I can think of LOTS of things to do with a nice house and a new husband emoticon

We're doing kind of the same thing, getting the house and the wedding all done at the same time. I kind of assigned the house hunt to the fiance though- I figure I don't really care exactly what it looks like (he does) and I have enough to worry about! I'll go look at the house if he wants to put a bid on it, but I'm not going to search the MLS listings and go to every possible house. I have to search for flower arrangements and go to tastings! :)

Congrats on the offer acceptance! I really hope this one works out for you. And don't worry about the break...everyone needs one some times. I'm sure you will get right back to it! Just remember, once one thing falls into place, everything else will seem to work out really easy. Good luck!!!
