A great way of starting the day emoticon

Went to the scale this morning and had passed the magical 25 BMI.....
Had to go onto the scale several times, before shower, after shower, after drying and after drying my hair. lol
Then - just to be sure - went for calibration of the weight. (Well I DO have a scientific background my friends!!! - most of you probably know that - no need to take anything for granted unless it is verified by two independant measuring tools - or a verified calibration!)

Roamed the house for items I was SURE I knew the weight on, and added them together onto a big pile on scale to verify that it was actually showing correct numbers. Added those numbers in an excell sheet and made a graphical presentation of the dots to see if there was any indication of line between the dots not being linear.
Analysed the numbers, made a statistical deviation, and had to conclude that scale did NOT have the flu, it was NOT sick it was actually showing a correct mirror of the truth.

Well then I obviously HAD to go back to computer, turn it on again, to post a blog. I am now tremendously late for work. Called in and ordered my second in comand to inform participants that meeting had to be postphoned, as I had had some unanticipated calculations I needed to finish before coming in for work.
emoticon Well somethimes it is GREAT to be the boss!

I have read about others in here at Spark, when they pass a number they run around in the small circles in the house and wake people up and share the victory. Most of you that know me, also know that this is not applicable to my life, so this is my little nerdy way of celebrating all for myself.
Just making sure that things are scientificly correct to the last decimal.

Well over and out - I had better go now and attend the postphoned meeting, .......after all - it was 9 people she had to shuffle around. emoticon

Suddenly it became imperative important that the scale was not off with a pund or two. Did not matter when I was working with my weight relatively, seeing the pounds disappear. But when it suddenly was crossing the 25 line, then I just HAD to verify and calibrate.
Year I know - I am a nerd - a lot of people point that out to me - regularly.
