The Tipping Point

The Tipping Point is the point you reach when your journey takes on momentum of its own and success becomes effortless. Similar to pushing a boulder up a mountain and reaching the peak where the boulder starts rolling down the slope toward its goal with such momentum that you could not stop it if you wanted to.
I can remember last summer I hit this point with my diet and exercise. I had been eating healthy and exercising for the critical number of months, days, minutes and I hit a point where weight-loss, feeling uplifted and GREAT just came naturally. The boulder was rolling down the slope toward well-being with such momentum that it was effortless and natural.
I want to hit The Tipping Point again - so that my journey toward feeling great and at my best is just natural and effortless. Like a runner, who has run far enough and become fit enough that running feels like flying.
Today is not the day that I feel like this, in fact it was a minute by minute struggle not to break into the girl scout cookies and blow off my workout. But just considering the possibility of reaching The Tipping Point is enough motivation to keep me pushing that boulder up the hill.
