End of Week 6

I am in love... With my gazelle. How did I ever go this long without it??? I have been looking at buying one for the past 2 years, and finally this week, I leaped. It was delivered this afternoon, and my hubby put it together for me immediately. I then hopped on, and I did 90 minutes and burned 1200 calories. I probably did more, but by using the calorie calculator online, I chose the light workout version instead, but I did anything but light. The gazelle calorie calculator that is on the thing said I burned 2200k. That just seemed way too much to believe. I worked up a nice sweat, my arms were moving, and I feel great.

Tomorrow I'll be watching my nascar race, so I'll have more than ample opportunity to jump back on and glide away. My husband is ready to try it now. Do I have to share??? LOL.

I am over my calories for the day, but what I burned more than makes up for it, and I'm still well within range. Definitely have a deficit.

My hubby has been telling me how good I look. At first I didn't think you could tell that much of a difference. Yes, my clothes are getting big (well, they aren't growing, I'm getting smaller), but I haven't noticed anything major in appearances. Then my hubby's screensaver popped up on the computer, and it started cycling through the picture directory and a pic from Christmas popped up. Who knew 13 pounds were all in face??? Just kidding. But in a way, not really. My face is thinning out. We haven't seen my inlaws since the beginning of January. We will be seeing them next weekend since we are going to celebrate my daughter's birthday with them. I have no doubt that they will be able to see the change too.
