I'm off to a good start today; did 3.5 miles on the treadmill in 55 minutes; did an upper-body Spark Video, have my lunch packed and have had 3 glasses of water. Whew! And it's 9:30 am.
I have a busy day today and then tomorrow I have to leave my house at 3:30AM for a 5:20AM flight to Dallas. A coworker and I are going to a one-day conference. We were trying to save the school money by not spending the night. But really -- WHAT WERE WE THINKING?? We will get home about 7 pm.
So tonight I will be busy getting ready and tomorrow is totally shot. For the conference I have ordered the fish lunch rather than chicken but when they start serving I will look them over and make the best choice. I'll pack snacks and fruit, but other than that, the day is out of my hands!
Sounds like everyone is on a roll, and I know there is always strength in numbers. Like my favorite motivational speaker, Les Brown says, "YOU CAN RUN FASTER WITH A THOUSAND WHO WANT TO GO, THAN WITH ONE AROUND YOUR NECK."
So lets BE that thousand who want to go!
PS, thanks Vandal, for breaking your alcohol streak so I get to take the lead again!!!
