Making progress

The last couple of weeks have been busy. Last week I spent most of the time helping my friend move into her new apartment, helping another friend plan food and decorations for her birthday party and putting together goodie bags for Kayla to give away during her valentines day party at school. But I am proud to say with everything that is going on I have managed to stay withing my calories and walked at least 10,000steps daily.
I even managed to get through valentines day weekend without over indulging which is a big victory for me. Saturday was my friends birthday party, there was so much junk food but she did think of me and did have some veggies and fruit. There was alcohol and soda. I avoided the soda but did have one cup of long island ice tea. i was never that big of a drinker, one drink make me sleepy lol. I mostly drunk water and ate some of the fruit and veggies. i did eat two small slices of pepperoni pizza and 2 od the honey bbq wings and had a small piece of birthday cake. Then Sunday my Boyfriend and I went to Palm Springs for valentines day where we went to the spa and got in lots of walking in the casino. Over all it was a great weekend.I am finally out of the rut I was in and I plan to keep it that way.
