Well I've been here for 5 weeks now. Am exercising more, gradually. I walk further with my dogs than I used to every day. I take a gentle cycle ride for about 10 miles when I can and the winds not too strong. Living on the coast it can often be breezy and its a bit chilly too at this time of year. I cycle to town, only a few miles, to get milk every few days and its amazing how the calories burned mount up. If the weather is really bad there's always the Wii fit plus which I find great fun and at the same time tells me how many calories I'm burning.

So far, I've lost 16 pounds in the five weeks. Well chuffed.
Been shocked about the food I can eat and enjoy every day, even though I've cut out chocolate, cakes and crisps except in very controlled quantities and within my daily calorie limit.
I don't consider that I've gone exercise mad or going hungry in any way. But the results are speaking volumes.
