Happy Valentines Day

Sunday, February 14, 2010

My day did not start out well. I came downstairs to find my husband sitting on is butt watching TV - no big deal. But there was dog pee and poo that need cleaned up - so of course I blew up. Great way to handle it right. And of course he went upstaris to hide from me - I wonder why!!

OK - take a big breath - get some spark time in - change my attitude for the day - it will get better. Happy Valentines Day everyone. emoticon

Happy Valentine Day, Well i would have blown up too if my husband got up first and didn't clean up after the dog. Which is probable ? we haven't gotten another dog since we had to have ours put to sleep 4 years ago.

Hope the rest of your day went better.

    Hi! Happy Valentine's day everyone!
I decided to stay home and give myself quiet time while my honey went to church. The quiet feels so good to me.
I think you are right on to look at yourself to change your perspective for a better day.We really can't change what happened...but we can move on with non-blaming thoughts!!
    Blessings,

It sounds like your husband could use a little of the SP motivation......I hope you have a Happy Valentine's Day anyway......It is kind of a special one for me, since it is also my 25th Wedding Anniversary.......married in Las Vegas on Feb 14, 1985 and we were one of 675 weddings on that day in Las Vegas....Amazing....Kind of special also because Feb 12 was my 75th birthday.......This is my second 25th anniversary.......my first wife died at the age of 44 of breast cancer......so I have been double lucky.......

You had a right to be upset. This is the best thing about SP, you can moan and whine and we'll all take up for you. I hope he got you a card for V day.

My husband and I have been married for 38 years and he has gotten me everything, we are at the stage of life, when all I wanted was a card, and it was on the kitchen table with coffee this am; he let me sleep in.

I'm making a special dinner (because I want to), crab cakes and cauliflower poppers.

Give your husband a kiss for V Day and forget about this morning.

Get back to exercising and being fit. Your attitude will change.

Take care of you and yours.

oh, poor you. I agree to Amalia8 and about everything. You're not wrong, you're just doing it wrong. Try to change your attitude with your husband and he's going to do things. emoticon Hope you have a better day!

It was probably not the best way to handle it but it is annoying when men can ignore disgusting things and then expect you to clean it up. I mean, he was obviously up first and either was there when the dog did it or should have seen it when he got up. Oh well....I'm sure your day will get better. :) Keep up the good work and keep your chin up!
