I am REALLY PUMPED this morning. I broke through a 20-year barrier, weighing in at 159.8 lbs. I can't tell you how proud I am for having stuck with my program consistently, despite the 160-lb mental barrier. I don't know how many times I have come close to crossing it! Today, my friends, is a brand new day in the rest of my life.

I know it's not all about the weight. In fact, I briefly checked a few measurements this week and found I had lost one inch per arm. My waist has dropped half an inch, as my hips one inch. My calves are smaller, too, as my knee-high boots are easier to zip up. I have greater endurance and feel amazing.

I have also begun to plan short, medium and long-term goals with the help of The Spark. Not only am I trying to improve my health, I am also trying to be a better mother, wife and friend. I want to be the best person I can be, one day at a time!
