I really can't believe that it's Feb. seemed like yesterday I was finishing a race in 2009, now I'm racing again in 2010..some the same races..some different ones..all of them because I know this is what keeps me motivated...not even my wife gets it..a woman I've lived with for 22 yrs...and my mother thinks I'm crazy but still likes hearing about my races..I always call her 1st after every race..but even if my family doesn't get it and I'm happy doing it...that makes it all worth it..the training the pain the agony of the feet...ha, stab at most of you know I'm a teacher..for 14 yrs. now..I should have a better since of humor...but sadly I don't ...although I have learned not to take most things too seriously..which is bp agrees with me on if all goes well later this month....I can truly say I've been running races for a yr....some ppl. who I don't even know will stop me and say "wow you are motivating, how do you run so much"..and all I can tell them is it takes time to build it up...someday I might even see another jogger on the road I travel...once, but he was a 75 he could run circles around me..and said he ran with Bill Clinton in a 10k once...maybe know how Bill loves to run...I'll keep my eyes open ,as not to get hit by a truck.....or car...I'll keep looking for that brave soul who I have really inspired to 2009--I ran 1500 took me 12 months of hard work..but I did 2010...I expect to run 2010 I can do it or not is up to God...who has allowed me to keep kicking this long...and I give Him the let's enjoy what makes us happy and keep on keeping on....and let the miles flow by....Rico emoticon emoticon
