Every one ask themselves that same question, even myself. It becomes redundant and quite frankly, sounds negative. OH, WHY IS IT SO HARD? WHY? WHY? WHY? Does that why ever get answered? Or is it replaced with frustration?
I decided when I came back to Spark, to think of that same question in reverse. Why is it so EASY to gain weight? This acts as a reminder for me, just how easy it really is. Try it, say both phrases to yourself. Which one does your mind process in a positive manner? 3483 days ago
It's about retraining our brain and our palatte in what we should have been eating all along, not just cutting out the foods we desire and can't have because it's destroying our bodies. It's tough. I have minimal self discipline, so for me the first few weeks on Spark are always dedicated to retraining myself on portion size and keeping out of the 3000 calorie count. After that, it gets much easier. Good luck, don't be too hard on yourself, remember it took time to get this way, it'll take time to undo it. 3538 days ago
