I Can Be Around People Again!

Wednesday, February 10, 2010

Well, I went to the doctor yesterday and he told me my pneumonia is clearing up and I can be around people again. I still have about a week worth of meds to finish and I don't have all my energy back but I am on my way to recovering. Yesterday I went to my moms house after the doctor's visit. Last night I went to my friend P's house. She gave me some cookies and muffins to bring home. They were really good but I let my hubby eat most of them. Today my mom and brother both surprised me at my house. My brother and I played the Wii so when they left I tried to work out. The first time I got about 26 minutes in then later I did another 17 minutes and tonight after my hubby goes to work I am going to try to get some more in. P and her boyfriend have gone out of town for two days but when they get back if I am feeling better her and I are planning on going walking this weekend.
The smoking is going ok. I didn't have a cigarette till I went to P's house last night and I couldn't help myself. Then today I had two of my brother's. The good news is I haven't bought a pack, the bad news is I'm smoking everyone else.
Well my hubby is up so I am off to spend time with him before he goes to work. emoticon

I have never smoked so I have NO idea how hard it is to quit. You will feel like a new person with weight loss and getting the smoke out of your lungs. Instead of getting older, you will be getting younger. Who doesn't want to feel younger. You can do hard things and that seems to be one. Try to get your mind on something else when you want a puff. emoticon
