Wow what a day

My day started at 5:30 this morning. I woke up to Gage crying. I tried playing with him and then I tried layhing back down with him...nothing soothed him. I took him downstairs to feed him breakfast. About 10 minutes or so after eating, he was screaming "night night night" at me. He does this when he is tired and wants to lay down. I took him up and layed him down in his crib. He went to sleep with no fussing. So I decided I would run using my Wii fit while he was sleeping. I ran a little over 6 miles in 30 minutes. Right at the end of my run, Gage started fussing again. Matt's sleeping in the same room, but never hears him (lucky me). I finished out my run then went up to get him. WOW!! What a stench when I opened the door to the bedroom. The poor guy had a bout of major diarrhea. It was all over blankets and him and the sheets. What a mess! So I got him cleaned up and got his bed stripped, and redone. Brought him down for a little while, giving him some Pedialite in small doses. I also threw his bedding in the wash. Gage started getting fussy again, and I noticed he had a temp starting. So I gave him a dose of Tylenol and put him to bed. He woke up about an hour and a half later. So I went up to put wash away while he was in a decent mood and not fussing. Matt came up and went to give Gage a kiss and noticed he had puke in his hair...and all over his pillow. So I stripped him again and got some bathwater ready for him. I gave him his bath and took him downstairs to try to give him some toast and some more pedialite. Within minutes I had to change his diaper. This went on most of the afternoon. I didn't even get a chance to eat anything until after he went to bed for the night. When Biggest Loser came on, I did my dishes while watching it. After it was over, I started something to eat while doing my schoolwork. It is now midnight and I hear Gage stirring around again. I pray he continues to sleep as he needs the rest...and I am really tired after the day I had. I hope he feels better in the morning. Get better baby, Mommy loves you.
