I ate exactly what I felt like eating ...

Yesterday, I did something that I have rarely done lately. I did not feel like cooking dinner and I had the leftovers that I still had in the fridge for lunch (yeah, I know, but you know what I mean). So I ate exactly what I felt like. 10 stalks of celery with peanut butter (5 tablespoons), soy milk heated up with hershey's syrup. I had a healthy lunch - my home made vegetable soup, homemade pinto beans and homemade bread (am I a domestic goddess or what :-). Breakfast had been the bread toasted. Anyway, not feeling like cooking what I had on hand (the refrigerator is getting quite bare - celery, carrots, fresh oregano and cabbage) I decided to eat it RAW! RAW is easy. Peanut butter is almost always here because it is not normally one of my favorites. But celery and peanut butter for dinner with hot soy milk with Hershey's syrup. And where did I end up nutritionally? My best day ever!!! Perfectly in my target range on every indicator I track except I was over on fiber (almost every day) and on B12 (where I am perpetually low). I am thrilled! Thrilled I tell you! I met my goals on calories, protein, carbs, fats (another perpetually low spot) - what a day! WooHoo for me!

Way to go, Girl!!!! :-D Sounds fabulous. I would love to trade recipes for homemade bread, too! I'm glad you had such a good day - here's hoping you're well on your way to an equally fabulous evening. :-)

Good job!!! I love celery with low-fat cream cheese and with peanut butter!!! Crunchy things seem to satisfy my hunger. I figured out long ago too, that ditching the bread on a fast food burger was no issue either, once it has mustard, onions, lettuce and tomato on it, it is soggy...with no taste--so I pitch it and enjoy everything else...

    keep sparkin'!!

Sometimes your body will tell you what it wants - you just have to listen! Congrats on meeting all those goals, that is awesome! I, too, love days where I get to 'graze', and just eat random things. Usually its when hubby is out of town! Keep it up!! :)
