Skinny as a starved rake

Okay, not quite. But I have lost 4cm off my waist in the last 4 weeks. Which brings us to a total of 12cm in the 18 weeks since I started this wholesale retooling of the apparatus. Forget the troosers, even my socks are falling off :-)
I lost another 0.7kg this week, same as the previous. I had trouble meeting my calorie goals again ... only hit the range 2 days of 7, and both of those I was right at the bottom end anyway. Aarggh. I made some pumpkin and chocolate biscuits (that's cookies for you North American provincials) on Saturday hoping that if I stuff a few of these in every day I might get up there, lol. So far that isn't working either :-( The basic issue is that I'm not hungry enough to eat much more. I could force myself but the thought of the bloaty feeling is a real turn off. I could probably (*sound of heavy sighing*) eat more calories in the mornings so maybe that's where to turn. Work in progress.
It's very hot here at the moment. I'm not sure what temperature it was on my run last night but it was stifling. Just as you wintering people feel you like you probably eat more at this time, so I feel little urge to eat in this kind of heat. I'm pretty well topped up with fluids most of the time so perhaps that contributes to lack of appetite.

The thunderstorms are less frequent now than a while back, though the season goes until April. Here's one from a few weeks taken while cowering among the herbs on my balcony!

    Great results, it just shows your dedication and commitment though. I hear you with struggling to get your calories in, I spend most of the day filling up on water too, it is hard to eat when it's hot, it just bloats me too!

    Wow! You're doing quite well with your weight loss! I can relate to not wanting to eat in the heat, but in this snow, it's another problem. I have a problem going over my caloric range thanks to snacking on nuts. Closer to your goal, you continue to move. emoticon
    Nice lightening picture.. emoticon I miss being outside, this weather is yuck!
