Walk walk walk...

Today was a good day. Scratch that, a GREAT day. Not only did I only lose 1.9 pounds this week, but I'm well on my way to meeting my goal of a 4% loss for the month of February. I wore my pedometer, and spent an hour working walking in my living room. My pedometer is now reading a 13,053 steps. By bed tonight, I'll most likely hit 15k. Talk about a record. Burned some major major calories and feeling fantastic about it. I also did my resistance band workout as well, so I'm just walking on cloud 9 right now. Very productive day. Nothing like finding out that I lost almost 2 pounds to give me an extra kick in the pants to work that much harder. My ankle is feeling great too, so it makes it much easier to get up and going. I did have a cookie this afternoon, but I more than earned it. LOL.
So, I think that I deserve a reward for all my hard work. No, not food. I am going to soak in my jacuzzi tub, jets going and everything, and read a book. I'm not normally a bath person (my husband is LOL). I'd rather just jump in the shower (I have a great shower in my house) and get out. But tonight, I think that as soon as I put my son to bed, I am going to take a little time for me.
I'm hoping that I get The Spark tomorrow in the mail. Can't wait to crack that book open. I'll spend my day cleaning house a bit, will probably run a few errands while my hubby works on his garden, and then watch the Bud Shootout tomorrow night. I'm so ready for race season to start up. Superbowl Sunday is usually a snacking day, but we're not having any company, so I don't have to put out the whole spread, plus my willpower has been great.
I hit my one month spark anniversary on the 9th, so I'll be doing another weigh-in then so I can see what my total for the month is. Looking forward to it. :)
