Well my digital scales have broken down and I haven't made an effort to replace the batteries. I am taking a deep breath and waiting a week or two before I fix it and get back into weighing. I am having to let go of a security blanket. I am used to daily weighing despite most advice given on the site that it is best to restrict weigh ins to once a week or less. I know the focus should be on healthy eating and fitness. I have read through the blogs and articles varied and contrasting opinions about attitudes and behaviours with the scales.
