it's the truth!

Tuesday, February 02, 2010

If you REALLY want it, you'll make it happen! And so this is what I'm telling myself this year. Because it's the truth. Wow.. February. already! before we know it, May will be here. no joke. so today is day 3 of consecutive exercise and clean eating for me.. last week i didn't work out as much as i had planned, however my nutrition was on point. i ended up losing 1 pound, so that's cool. this week i'm trying to lose 2 pounds. i'm feeling good about this week and this month. plan on losing 5 lbs. this month. i know i can do it. can't believe the 2nd month of the new year is here already. today my brother left for Kuwait. he was a sgt in the marines, did 3 tours of Iraq, came home safe and sound.. and now after being home for about a year and a half, he's decided to go to Kuwait as a civilian contractor to provide security to the army. it's a one year commitment. going to miss him while he's gone. anyway, trying not to think about that too much, just wanted to say hello to all of you and let you all know that February is the month to get back on your grind.. if you feel yourself slipping, grab on to something sturdy and GET UP! gotta make the most out of every single workout, every single day.. these days grow into weeks and months way too quick! hope all of you are feelin good and goin hard! i'll check in soon!

much love,

Great plan, Wendi! You are right about that first statement... if you want it bad enough YOU WILL make it happen! (That was my opening line on my Spark Page for a while too!!)

Keep working hard and enjoying what you have made happen, Girl! No matter how big or small your accomplishments are, they all deserve to be celebrated!

PS... Your brother is a brave man for doing what he does!
