My youngest who is 15 went to see a nutritionist to help her get on track with her eating. I then showed her how to track her calories on the Teen Spark. She admitted it was eye opening to her how many calories she eats each day. Since tracking it has helped her be a better label reader and has helped her decide to eat healthier choices. I am proud of her.

I also tell many people when they lament that they are gaining weight to use Spark People just to track their food and to really see what they are eating. Making small changes can make bigger changes in health.

For me Healthy is the name of the game, the rest is just icing on the cake. Wearing smaller clothes, being able to fit in chairs etc., those are just side benefits. People ask me if I feel like a different person and the answer is no because my personality hasn't changed, just me being a healthier person has changed.
