Down 13.4 lbs in January

This is so big for me. I have never gone on a diet and succeeded by losing 13.4 lbs. I know that does not sound like a big number in the real world. But it is a huge number for me when we are talking about how many lbs I have lost in 31 days.
My goal for January was to lose approx 2 lbs a week. If you break this down, I lost 3.3 lbs each week in January. That excites me that all the hard work I have done this week shows. Not only is it showing, but I exceeded my goals.
I am so proud of myself. And all I can think of is the future. If I keep working hard and do what I need to do for myself, I can do this. I can reach my goal within this year. I can become healthy again. I can begin to buy littler clothes and feel like I look good in them. I can chase my children around at the park and feel like I've played and not stay on the side to watch. I CAN DO THIS! AND I WILL DO THIS!
