When I first began SparkPeople, I was a retiree and I had all the time in the world to devote to the activities of this site. I was logging in my food. I was exercising one hour per day, 4-6 days per week. I participated in the team challenges. I huddled with my teams everyday. I answered a poll question, took a quiz, posted messages daily, read articles, etc.

In August, I moved from the state of being a full-time retiree to being a part-time employee. The new job was challenging and very demanding. I had to get up at 5:30 am and I did not get home until after 5 pm. I was usually tired when I got home and did not want to exercise. I did not have the time to devote to SparkPeople because I was preparing for the next day (teaching preschool students).

During this lapse of devoted time, I continued to exercise when possible. However, there would be days in which I never logged on to SparkPeople. However, my weight has remained steady. I have lost one pound since I last updated my weight.

Things have calmed down now and I would like to get back into the "swing of things" as I did when I initially became a member of SparkPeople. There still may be times when I don't get to log in, yet I would like to be more consistent than I have over the last four months.

My goal is to lose 11-15 more pounds. After I accomplish that, I can work toward toning and sculpting.
