1/31/2010 I love my Bodybugg so far!

Sunday, January 31, 2010

Hi everyone!

Lost -2 pounds this week and I will say the Bodybugg( www.bodybugg.com )
was very accurate.

I burned 1000 calories a day more than I consumed and lost the 2 pounds predicted. It is supposed to be 90% accurate and I know there are all kinds of reasons it can be off like salt intake, fluid retention, hormone fluctuations, underestimating calories etc, but it did a good job. I will also say it was hard to make the required burned calories which tells me I have to move more. Eating less is no option!!!!! LOLOL!!! I do much better on 1400-1500 calories a day. I also have to reach that burned calories mark every day! So, if you see me marching in place during TV commercials, sprinting down the hallway to the bathroom, running around with the doggies, or walking around the house aimlessly chanting "I must have my pop tarts!", you will know why.

Thanks for another great week!

That's very cool, Lynn! Wish I could afford 1 right now, but there's no way. That's a future dream item! LOL! I actually LOVE my Polar HRM, I don't care what the reviews say, & I've had it for 14 mos with NO battery issues what so ever.
Have fun running around with the doggies & jogging to the bathrm! LOL!

I had my first weigh in since I started my bodybugg. I started at 333.4 lb so my numbers are greater than many of you. I bought mine though the health club and it came with a local coach. He set me at 4500 calorie burn and 3000 calorie consume. I have be very diligent about recording the consumed calories and working hard to hit my goals. Anyway all else aside, I weighted in at 324 lb this morning. Now I know that 8.6 pounds can't be completely right but I sure feel good. emoticon
Ouch. I just checked back to see what I posted and I can't beleive the picture that is with it. That isn't the one I thought was on my post. This was a before picture that I just had on my Cparks Page. I got to get rid of that. Ugly!!!

Hi Lynn, my dear pop tart lover best buddy! I must have my pop tarts! made me chuckle as I do the same thing! Too funny, Lynn! Does your BodyBugg say it's okay to include your pop tarts?! Did you get to have any pop tarts this last week with your weight loss? Way to go on the -2 lb! You're doing awesome this whole challenge! Keep up the great work! Hugs, Michele

Hi, found your blog through the Bodybugg team. When I went to your Sparkpage I was pleasantly suprised to see that you are in my age range and having good luck using the BB as a weight loss tool. I have had my BB for a couple months now, but not had any luck with losing anything. I guess I haven't taken it serious enough and really need to buckle down and start keeping track of every morsel and every calorie I burn.
