Keep on...

Sunday, January 31, 2010

I'm trying my very bestest to get into a good routine, not only with eating, but with sleep, fitness, and wellness. I'm doing OK, but still learning how not to let a change in plans derail me for days. I've got to let myself know that all is not lost. It's only lost if I let it be.

Still loving this treadmill desk. Now, if I can just get myself into a routine of waking up about 1.5 hours earlier each morning before work for exercise, me time, and breakfast.... So hard to do with a weird schedule, a child, and being a doctoral student. Plus, I have to manage to get the 7 hours of sleep in there somewhere.

OK, baby steps. Keep on, keepin' on...

Baby steps, indeed. Keep plugging away at it, incremental changes are more likely to stick than great leaps and bounds.

I'm all into baby steps! LOL

I remember the day... I worked three part-time jobs to support myself as a full-time student when I was going for my bachelor's degree. I had a car accident, injured my back and neck, but still had to keep going or I'd have lost my funding. I worked through the pain and I graduated with my class~ and it was definitely worth it!

I had a job once where the boss always told us that if you wanted something done, give it to a busy person. You sound pretty busy... LOL

You can do it, and baby steps are quite all right. It may take longer to get there, but the results are lasting! LOL

Good luck on that doctorate... you're a star in my book!
