I had so many reasons why I couldn't exercise today. You see...I had a bad dream and woke up grumpy. While shuffling barefoot to the bathroom, I stepped in something the cat coughed up, then I had forgotten to put TP in the bathroom, as I went back into my room to clean up after the cat, I whacked my knee on the bed frame. I could go on and on stating "reasons" for why I needed to take a "poor me" day. I miss my mom. I feel guilty for not mailing out presents I promised to mail at the start of the week (too cold to leave the house). My knee hurts a little. So, I sat in my chair with a cup of coffee prepared to do nothing today. I deserved it.
Then I thought of my goals. I read a few Spark People Blogs, and before I knew it, I was up and moving, I did my first 30 minutes of cardio and plan to do another thirty minutes soon. I am tired today...but not too tired to justify not moving my body.
By the way, does anyone know what rule of cat-dom states that one has to "toss their cookies" where the human bare foot will step on it?
