I'm back, I think!

It's been so hectic at work finishing and distributing W2s and quarterly reports that I've neglected SP. Feeling it, too. It's funny how you get so connected to your friends on here and actually miss talking and sharing things with them. I think I've managed to lose one more pound (exercise has been neglected worse than SP) and am going to weigh again tomorrow to make sure it's really gone before I post. So far today (we're snowed in with about 4 inches and more still coming) I've done the NordicTrack some, plan on 2 more sessions, and will be cooking some Whole Wheat Energy Cookies and making some scrumptious recipes. The zinger of cooking so light is that my 5 year old son's ribs are showing!! Tell me God doesn't have a sense of humor......So have to beef his intake up a bit. I know my ribs are there, the physical therapy (from me being rear-ended and knocked into the car ahead of me in November) has discovered them and my neck muscles--ouch! I need a massage...

    The busy times at work really make it tough to stay committed to ourselves... I am determined to keep up the exercise this tax season (I am a tax specialist in a public accounting firm) but I know it is going to be a challenge... it's not that anyone would say anything about me taking 20 minutes at lunch time to go for a walk it's that I know I would stay an hour later at night to "make up" for what I didn't do cause I took a break... the truth is I would probably be more productive after the break... I just have to get my brain thinking that way in the thick of tax season!

    I understand about the neck pain, I hurt every day after several accidents in a couple years...but it brought me closer to God, so all is good. Hopefully, you can get some more time to focus on you and what you need.
