Almost Blew it Big Time.....

I went to my son in laws birthday party. Not much of good choices to eat and felt a lil guilty when I left. It started out ok. Had fresh vegtables, like green peppers, cucumbers and carrots with no dip. Then I ate a couple chicken wings, onion rings, and fried mushrooms. Not a lot, but after 2 beers the munchies started. I started eating a couple cookies and ice cream. Then a few more. I stopped myself before it was too much. Ended up not too bad calorie wise as I thought. I was over my plan and thought I would have at least doubled it. Ends up that it wasn't as bad as I thought.
The good news is I weighed myself before the party and lost 5.5lbs in a week in a half since I created my account on spark people!
