Today was a great exercise day. My friend recommended a website to me. She is a tae kwon do instructor, and they have an exercise program. It's free online. How cool is that? 20 minutes and you are done. If you want to check it out, it's warriorxfit.com . All you need is a resistance band, which I didn't get yet. I did it with some 5 pound weights today. Hey, payday is tomorrow. LOL. I felt great after it. It was tough, but wasn't so bad that I didn't want to do it again. And while some of the moves were a bit beyond me, I modified them a bit. I haven't figured out all the kinks on it yet, but I'm excited to do tomorrow's exercises.
Today went really well. The workout gave me just enough of that boost that you could hope for. I was able to continue on with my day and even felt so good tonight that I walked for another half an hour. I am determined to hit my goals this week.
Daily goals were all met. Calories within range- Check. Water- Check. Exercise (Cardio and strength)- Check. Crunches- Check. :) Best part is that I've burned almost twice the calories that my plan calls for the week.
Think I've discovered my sleep issue too. I stopped drinking soda back during the beginning of the month. That means, I haven't had any type of caffeine. Well, the past couple of nights, I have been having a small coke zero with my dinner (after finishing the majority of my water, of course). I think after not having any for weeks, and suddenly adding it back isn't working out well. I'll either have to cut back the amount, or maybe look toward getting caffeine free coke. Funny how I have never had an issue with caffeine. But all is okay, because, honestly, I wasn't missing it too much to begin with.
So, all is good here. Plenty of exercise, and eating well. Can't complain. I think I am going to reward myself with a nice long soak in my jacuzzi tub and a good book. Soooo much better than food. :)
