Successful and unsuccessful day

Calories would have been fine today but then my friend's daughter brought over a brownie..it's my friend's birthday..so of course, I had to eat it! Then she brought another over because my daughter was here. My daughter ate part of it and I couldn't throw chocolate away so..yes, I finished hers. Tomorrow I will be back on track.
However, today was very successful as far as exercising! I have done my chair exercises, will have reached my goal of 5,000 steps by the time I go to bed, and I joined the marching challenge a little bit ago. Won't be anything spectacular for the marching today but so far have 750 so not bad for a start.
I actually feel very good about my day even though calories are out of the ballpark..haven't even added them and probably won't but just the fact that I have exercised so much more today and it's fun to see how many steps and how much marching I can do. I also have been very encouraged by a couple of my new spark friends who have lost doing the chair exercises! That is the only way I can exercise at this point and wasn't really sure it worked but now I know it does. I'm amazed at the number of steps I've taken because it's just doing what I have to do around the house.
I thank the Lord for my success today and for all of my new friends!
