Day 22.....Surprised

Wow was I surprised when I stepped on the scales this morning and there was 1.8 pounds gone!!!!!! Maybe I didn't mess up as bad as I had thought!!

I can hardly believe that it has been 3 weeks already...Time flies when you are having fun I guess!!! I really have been having fun!!! Sure tracking everything can get teadious at times and I think, OH NO not again...I gotta track this...hehehe...but for 98% of the time it has been a blast and I am looking forward to the rest of my journey. I try to make tracking a game..kinda like rolling the dice and waiting to see just how good I did.

I can already feel a difference in my clothes and I am not near as bloated as I was before I started. Week 4, I plan to eat more fresh fruits for my snacks instead of the carbohydrate filled 100 calorie snacks....[they are 100cal if you eat just one!!] They are too much of a temptation for me to have in the house. I have a tendency to eat 2 if I am hungry for a snack. I don't need the temptation or the carbs. This weeks Kroger trip is gonna be mostly in the produce department!!!! Oh how I love my

    Haaaa...yes maa'm...I love my Kroger, too.. (well, you already know Today in the healthfood section I found some multigrain or whole grain tortilla chips and some multigrain tortilla shells. I made up some of that yummy black bean dip with salsa and onions and threw on a little cheese and voila...we had a tasty, nutritious snack. Haley is loving the new foods and I am feeling better than I have in years! I used to have that bloatey feeling's so good not to feel it.

    Yes..hasn't the time seemed to flyyyy by?! Wow! So far, I've lost 12 pounds and 18 inches over all. Amazing!

    I'm having a blast and glad you are too!

    Hey..did you change the color of your pages or is that sunshiney yellow just your happiness coming through?!

    emoticon You're doing Great! I hope that I have done as well by the third week. This was my first and I lost 6 pounds. I went to fast with the exercise and hurt myself so I don't know how the next 3 months of only walking will go but I'm not giving up. Thanks for sharing your success!
