I am SHREDDED!

Yesterday was my first day doing Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred. I nursed my ankle the whole time, and even though I made it through the whole thing, I can tell I am just not ready for that one yet. There were a few instances where I could modify with the beginner, but not enough to avoid stress on the ankle. So, I think I'm just going to try to stay active for now, and when it is healed up resume it. Oh, and let's not forget that I can barely move a muscle in my body. LOL. That's the good part though, it was a great workout.
So, in the meantime, I'm going to get back to my walking. I'm going to grab my pedometer and start my 5 mile walk. I can get them all done while watching Young and the Restless. I have found that if I feed my kids their lunch and let them play for that time, it works out perfectly. Then we can get back to doing the rest of our homeschooling for the day. Oh, and let's not forget the potty training of my son. It's going well, but I have to drop whatever I'm doing at anytime. LOL.
So, I'm going to work hard this week and hope for a loss. But no matter what, I do feel great because I have been more active in these 2 1/2 weeks than I have been in I can't remember when. It feels good.
