Good things:
I got really cute and waterproof boots for work, yeah.
I had today off
Had fun shopping by myself, got above mentioned boots and wind pants for my new job as a bather.

I have definitely hit a plateau, I have been at about the same weight for three weeks and have been struggling to keep it together this last week. Last week I ate way more than I should have and didn't exercise like I usually do. I had the most horrible day of binging today and I have the worst stomach ache, it really makes me want to ralph it all up just get it out of my stomach... but that just leads to bad things so I am trying to just push past the pain and disappointment.
I will definitely hold tightly to how gross I feel and remind myself this is not what I want, I want to be healthy and active, not sick and lethargic...
I need to find some motivation, nothing seems to be working right now and I feel discouraged but I know I just need to keep on going...

So I am getting on the elliptical right now, now NOW!

How exciting to get ready for you new bathing work!

I hit plateaus too, I think we all do but like Markki said, I think it's where our bodies need to catch up with our "energy"! And a lot of times, by the time I realize it really is a plateau, I find I've gotten into a rut - with my food, with my exercise routine, or something.

Check you tube or an exercise site and try a new routine! The elliptical sounds like a great idea!

I hate plateaus. The one thing thats always worked for me is changing up my routine. If I do the same thing consistently I think my muscles get bored or something so I'll take a week off and just dance and then go back to it. That will usually keep things moving forward. :)

Hey, try something for me...just stop thinking about it a plateau-ing. See one ting that they never told me was that if you have that happen you arent "stuck" your body is just rejouvinating and that is when the skin shrinks. If you loose weight too fast then you get the skin rolls, if you loose at a moderate speed then your body naturally stops to get a chance to shrink the skin cells. That is what a holistic doctor taught me and it is true, sometimes the longer the 'stop' is due to the amount of weight actualy lost. For me when I thought about it that way it clicked! What do you think? emoticon
