I'm such a klutz!

Now I did it. lol We were going to lunch, and it has been raining. I was wearing my brand new tennis shoes I bought last weekend, and all of a sudden, my left foot goes stupid or something and I slide a bit, and manage to sprain my ankle. I am the clumsiest person ever. Always have been, always will be. At least I didn't wind up on the ground. LOL. I can walk, but it hurts if I put too much weight on it, and it's starting to swell up just a bit. Could be much worse, but I imagine that my cardio stuff will take a hit this week.
Anyway, of course this happened after buying a new exercise dvd and some weights. And to think I was all set to let Jillian Michaels kick my butt. Bought the 30 day shred. Has excellent reviews on it and am excited to try it. I also need to get out in the garage and dig through a box of dvds that has been sitting in there for the past year that has my slim in 6 dvds.
Tomorrow is weigh in day, and I did sneak a peek a couple of days ago. At that point I didn't drop anything, so I'm not expecting much different in the morning. Not disappointed about it though, because while the scale may not budge this week, I know for a fact that I'm definitely smaller than I was last weekend. Yet another pair of my pants that used to fit just right, are now beginning to slide off and with these, I can't use a belt.
Plans for this week as I look onto my 3rd week is I really want to begin to make some goals that I can start to tick off one by one. Yes, I do have my ultimate goals, but I need to have some more short term ones that I can look forward to striving toward and meeting. Oh, and let's not forget how to reward myself. I have no doubt that a pedicure will be at the top of my list. :) There is a place just down the road does these amazing pedicures and it takes over an hour to be done. They even get the hot rocks out and give you a glass of wine. Talk about a reward. I think I'm ready for that now! :)
