Goals for Today-Awesome

I love planning. It's so much fun! It's exciting to think about all the different ways I could move my life. However, I'm horrible at initiating!! I'll make fabulous lists, and plans, and goals and leave them on my counter. That's where they stay until I want to write out a new list, plan, or goal. Rather frustrating. Thankfully, though, I tend to stay pretty consistent in what I'm wanting to accomplish.
Today will be a fun day!
It started off with a rough morning and lots of yelling and tearing the house apart looking for my three year old's shoe. Under my 5 year old's blanket. Of course. That only took 45 minutes to figure out. Ok, running late for school. Freeway is closed. Of course. No problem, take the other free way. Get to school one minute late-not bad since I left 30 minutes late. We won't talk about how I manged to make up the lost time. :D
School, awesome. Of course. I'm a book nerd and love learning. Pathology (my class today) comes very easy to me. So I finish my work and am now allowed to leave early. Fabulous! Except my fiance has the car. No problem because now I can come online in the computer lab and write my blog. ;) Awesome.
Next I'm taking my kids to Toys R Us. This has pretty much two possible outcomes. We leave with everyone pissed off because the kids misbehave and I'm y elling through out the whole store, or we leave happy and excited to go try out our new toys. Which one sounds better to you? Yeah, me too. How am I going to make that happen? We are going to lay down some ground rules. We'll have an awesome talk before hand, we'll remain calm, I'll remember that even I'm excited so the kids are totally excited.
I'll continue this later because my fiance is here to pick me up :)
Ok, so Toys R Us has been postponed yet again. We're all disappointed but I had three year old who was being crazy! He hadn't had a nap yet.
So we kicked it at my future in law's house for a while, picked up a cage for my rats, came home and made dinner.
I made shrimp scampi for the first time with wild rice and steamed veggies. It's awesome!
After dinner, some Wii time! Woo Hoo. Have a wonderful night!
