What's for Dinner?

Friday, January 22, 2010

i am sorry i did not give approximate measurements. This was a spur of the moment thing i did while cooking because I saw the camera laying on the table. Excuse the mess =-0 .Just in case your wondering I had used about 3/4 package frozen spinach (sometimes i used more sometime i use less). mix well with about 1lb of ground turkey i put about a table spoon of minced garlic. i used mrs dash garlic and herb (season to taste. i think i use about 2 table spoons). mrs dash southwest chipotle ( again season to taste, i go crazy) i also sprinkle some additional chipotle after i finish. Some swiss cheese, cooked onions. wheat buns. in my GF grill i think it took 5-7 minutes to cook. i also like to grill the buns. Again my apologies for no approximate measures. i just do it by site and taste at the moment ( this drives my hubby batty about me). i believe this will make any where from 5-8 patties/ servings depending on how big you make your patties. I think it's a better alternative if you really want a hamburger. mmm...hope you enjoy.

Oh man i look like a crazy hot mess and you can look up into my nostrils lol.

I like turkey burgers with spinach too. I love Mrs. Dash because it adds lots of flavor without all the calories. I also like to use the GF grill, it gets rid of those greasy calories pan frying can make.
I had black beans and brown rice, broccoli, applesauce, almonds, and milk for dinner. This was on my nutrition planner. emoticon the nutrition planner is a must for me right now. I'm also measuring everything. emoticon
