When you hit that first 10lb mark!

Today I hit the 10lbs lost mark!!
Actually I have lost 11.6 lbs in 22 days. I am extrememly proud of myself. Every other time I have tried to diet it never worked. Not because I chose the wrong diet, but because I said I was going to diet, pretended like I was dieting, didnt try hard enough, then didnt see results, and gave up!
This time has been completely different. 22 days is the longest I have ever stuck to a diet. And I now see that the days are paying off. Before I didnt like to get on the scale because the numbers continued to rise. So I avoided it all together. Now, every Friday, I am actually excited to step on the scale. I have a long way to go but every time I step on that scale and see the numbers go down it makes me want to try that much harder to see lower numbers next week.
I know I can do this! My goal for next week is to hit the 230 mark. That would be a weight loss of 2 lbs this week. And that is my mini goal.
