My goals for 2010.. sticking to the goals and not letting the fat stick to me.

Thursday, January 21, 2010

I have been quite under the weather this weak with extreme nausea, and tiredness. My mind, body and soul have been tired since Christmas and I think it finally caught up with me Tuesday after work where sudden chills and temp of 102 kicked in with a high heart rate at rest. So I am making an executive decision this week and taking a week and a half off. Why a week and a half you ask? Well, for one I need to rest, it is good for the body to recoup and I am still eating healthy. Secondly I am picking up some night shifts at work and my body is really not used to this schedule so i believe that rest is more important than exercise this week. This being said, I will be back to my normal schedule in the middle of next week.
So as the blog entry states my goals for 2010 are the following,

Obviously lose the rest of my 15 lbs left and no i do not care if it takes the entire year
Run a 5K away from here, no offense I do not need or want any competition because it is not a competition, these are my goals and no one elses.
Have more fun with my 4 year old especially this summer because this coming fall he will be in kindergarten 5 days a week. :(
Run my entire neighborhood without stopping or walking any of it
Recognize my own true beauty which is much easier in your 30's because you do care less what other people think.
Continue to make wise food choices at home and out, because face it, we cannot all eat at home all the time.
Continue with Spark People and tracking my progress because I am a visual learner, I need to see those caloric graphs.
Bike the entire Western Maryland Rail trail- 26 miles is my record, lets shoot for 40 miles.
Get into those size 12 pants that I tried on at Ann Taylor LOFT that fit snug in the belly but did go over my large arse.
Model for my husband, he is into photography and I keep telling him just 15 more lbs and I will let you take pics, no not naked pics, just nice formal pics.

I am on my way and no one thing or influence is going to stop me. These are my goals and I am sticking to them and not letting the fat stick to me. PEACE
