Taking days off = bad

So I had to take a few days off exercising due to back pain.. and the scale went up.. and my energy level went down. I forced myself to exercise yesterday and boy did I feel it. I got a 20min workout in so far today, and want to get another session in this evening. I learned that unless you are dying.. do NOT take days off in a row from exercising cause getting back into the flow is hard!
My eating is going good, hoping to see a loss on the scale this Monday even though I have taken 3 days off from exercising. Crossing my fingers :)
