Guess what I got today?

Just finished my exercise for the night; I'mma grab a shower, and sit in bed for a while and get through some of it! I can't wait! If I hadn't just exercised, I'd be reading it right now, haha.

Really, you guys. I don't care if I've gained weight. I'm feeling better in myself. I managed to make it the whole way around the supermarket today without a single twinge of pain in my hip, and normally I'm bending forward, leaning on my trolley and then leaning against the conveyor belt, and I was standing up the entire time.

And then I went home and made my lunch, and I was still standing and there still wasn't any pain.

So I don't care what my doctor says. I do hope I go down weight by Thursday, but I know as well as the next person that it's not just the scales that tell the story.

ANYWAY.

Off to shower! Then reading!

    Well now I am totally motivated by your post. You got through the supermarket without fading....you stood tall all through. You were honest with all your frustrations and wrote them out....you listened and you moved beyond. DO you realize what encouragement that is to everyone?!

    I weigh myself once a month rather than daily/weekly. I am one of these people who get disheartened if I see even a one pound weight gain--plus I just get too down on myself. If I weigh myself once a month I have a happy face because if I've worked out/eaten right--I am usually down.

    You are correct the scales does not tell all that is why measuring yourself is a great secondary way to tell if you have weightloss.Muscle weighs more than fat.Lisa

    I got my book in December, but just started reading it today. It's great! Keep up the good work. There is a lot of pieces to this process. The scale is only part of it.
