so saturday was my rest day and boy did i need it!!!
i wound up working and then driving 2 hours upstate to poughkeepsie to see my friends' band from chicago who were on tour...was really fun...lots of dancing..so i guess i got exercise in anyway LoL...eating for the most part waas good- i ate approx 1500 calories but after my shakeology 2nd lunch, the rest of the day consisted of 2 p90x protein bars and a small bag of combo pretzels...okay, the pretzels were not a good idea
but my first cheat since 2010 and i didn't eat an over abundance so it is what it is
sunday was chest & back and ab ripper x..i rocked chest & back..i love mimicking pull ups sitting on floor with the resistance band..it really works my whole arm as well as my back!
food wise sunday- i could have done a lot worse, but i should have been better...i hosted a combo team beachbody/arbonne health, wellness, spa party...i made a bunch of shakeology for people to taste, raw chocolate-avocado pudding, cut up p90x bars, sweet potato black bean chili and gluten-free dairy-free brownies that were the best things ever....to sum it up- i ate my usual breakfast and for the rest of the day just grazed on everything with no real meal with the exception of some clean eating lemon artichoke chicken for dinner...i still don't think i consumed all that much overall, but had a brownie or 2 more then i really needed to.
saturday i also completed my 7 day arbonne detox cleanse..went down a pound, feel more energeticm lighter and my stomach looks flatter...i liked it a lot bc u pour the stuff in 32oz of water, sip it throughout the day but STILL EAT NORMAL!..was very easy for me to do...side note, i pooped like crazy this week because of it, so i know what they mean by cleanse! lol
so i am now an arbonne independent consultant too..funny, i swore i wouldn't become one but i've been using their products- skin care, makeup, nutrition, cleansing and am now addicted and talk about them nonstop anyway so why not...i like they are vegan, animal friendly and all the nutrition stuff is vegetarian friendly and everything is good for the earth too! i can give anybody more info if they want it
well that's it..i was supposed to wake up before work to do plyometrics but my whole body was killing me, especially my knees so it didn't happen...i have a massage at 2 and in general i don't like working out after massages so i might just skip it and do a double workout tomorrow...i'm not happy i didn't wake up, but it is what it is and as long as i eat good i'll be fine..week 2 and i feel my body looks diff already. i love p90x.
