Making small changes

Well teh past few dyas, I have kept my mind in focus and have dome amazing!!! I walked 30 mins 2 days in a row and have been drinking sooo much water. I feel so happy and have so much more enegry! I tryed to convince Ashley to get us a tredmill with some tax money. but he said no being we have so many other bills to pay and I understand that. I just think it would be easier if I had a way to exercise in my own home I would do it more and wouldent have to be reliantant on the weather. if its too cold, rainy or what! But my 25th Birthday is in 3 months and me and Ashley's 1st wedding annaversary is in 4 months... Still can't believe I am married let alone it's almost been a year!I just feel really happy and like I have hope again! I just hope I can get this thing going and reach me goal of one day wearing a bikini!

    Way to go, girl! Keep up the good work and your bikini days will be here before you know it!

    My personal opinion about the treadmill is that, yes, it's great to have your own to use in the comfort and privacy of your own home, but don't make it a requirement to getting the exercise you need. I will say that when I had my treadmill, it was the one piece of equipment that didn't become a clothes rack, like all of my other pieces. But, in saying that, I know I can get a better walking workout in from walking the city streets because they are not predicable and your body will be more challenged if you walk different streets and different inclines that your treadmill can't exactly duplicate. My husband and I used to walk on the track at the local school, but felt our muscles actually got a better workout on the city streets because of the unpredicable changes on the roadway. If the weather is an issue, dress in layers and as you walk and warm up, take off a layer. It may be cold when you start, but you will be quite warm 5-10 minutes into your walk.

    Most importantly, just keep going, you're doing a great job. Starting is the hardest part of any new routine, but it does get easier, if you stick with it and then it will become a habit. emoticon
