Social Life + Healthy Living = Impossible???

Here's the deal.
I know what I SHOULD do. I know that if I go out I should get a salad or something on the menu that's at least reasonably healthy. And I know what that entails, I know what to look for, I have no problem mangling a menu to suit my needs, and I know what to avoid.
I just ..... don't.
I've been out of town a lot lately and when I've come home I've sat in my living room eating (sometimes) healthy home-prepared foods and maybe going out on the weekends.
I was also in a bit of a funk. Gone too much to have a social life and good friends, but home enough to realize how much I miss having a social life and good friends.
I'll be home quite a bit over the next two months (for me, anyway) and I'm in a place where I'm ready to be out of the house, rekindle some friendships, and, dare I say it, maybe even go on a date??
The problem is when I go out I tend to eat too much, drink my calories (vodka, I'm lookin' at you), and generally nutritionally misbehave.
I got home Monday afternoon and hit up Wegman's for dinner. Tuesday I went to the grocery store after work to stock up on healthy food, then went out to dinner with a friend. Yesterday I skipped breakfast because of meetings, had my breakfast for lunch, then went to Cheesecake FActory with some girlfriends where I got a pretty healthy and delicious asparagus salad and a mini-pizza off the starter menu .... and then topped it off with a piece of Oreo cheesecake that I later discovered is 880 calories.
So I have all this food in my house and plans to make:
Coach Nicole's Mini Vegetable Frittatas: http://recipes.sparkpeople.com
Spinach and Tomato Pasta Salad: http://recipes.sparkpeople.com
Egg White and Avocado Salad: http://recipes.sparkpeople.com
And I haven't made any of it because I haven't been home.
Tonight, though, will be a cooking night, and I am not going out so I'll even get to eat some of it.
This weekend, again, is a mess. Friday night plans out somewhere (hello, vodka, my old friend), Saturday lunch out and a museum, Saturday dinner out, Sunday most likely out for lunch and/or dinner.
Seems like it never ends!
It's nice to be back in the swing of things and not sitting on the couch alone every night but I've got to get this under control. More salads. Less cheesecake.
