I have an opportunity to begin again.

Thursday, January 14, 2010

Everyone needs encouragement. Sometimes it comes in the form of a few questions. For example my son ask me did you exercise today? Did you exercise yesterday? What about the day before yesterday? I answered no to all three questions. I thought about what I read in the first chapter of "SPARK", and I cut myself some slack. Instead of being depressed about it I decided to begin again today. I can't do anything about yesterday or the day before but I can do something about today!

I did my "SPARK" TODAY! emoticon

GREAT ATTITUDE! As Will Rogers once said, "Don't let yesterday use up too much of today. "

WONDERFUL attitude!! It's great to see it that way because stressing over things like that really way you down. I recently posted in my blog about a daily recommitment. Here's a snippet (heehee):

"A daily recommitment is not to ensure we'll never fail, but to help us develop the mentality that every single day is a new day." ~~Beth Moore, Praying God's Word: Breaking Free from Spiritual Strongholds; from the section Overcoming Food-Related Strongholds

Good for you! No sense living in the past, take your lessons and move on right? Making your self feel bad and wrong is worse then the issue you are upset about! Every day is fresh and new and full of possibilities. emoticon Ask yourself three different questions. Are you worth it? yes! Are you full of possiblities, you bet.. are you living for yesterday?
