Ok so I have never written a blog before so here it goes.....

My name is Christina Witt. I am 32 years old and am a nurse. I have recently lost 30 lbs on my own through walking, hiking, biking and recently running. I have about 15 more lbs to go to acheive my goal of 170 which i would be very happy with considering that i am tall and of a bigger statue than most. I do not use this as an excuse. My previous doctor states that my healthy weight would be 150. I think personally I would look sick at this weight and my ultimate goal is just to be more healthy.
So in a nutshell, I really joined Spark People over a year ago and initially thought it was a waste of time and I could certainly do this on my own( i tend to be stubborn) and while I have done a good job, I need some motivation, some encouragement to continue to my goal to become healthier. So I am back and ready to kick the last 15 lbs to the curb.
