My Stationary Bike Routine

Tuesday, January 12, 2010

I realize that not everyone likes Michael Jackson's music, but personally it pumps me severely. I have created a routine for myself and if anyone wants to, feel free to join me in doing it.
I start off slowly as all good cardio routines should (we need the warm up) with Man In The Mirror. The song has meaning for me, for if I am going to take the weight off I have to be the one to look in the mirror and make that change! I am pumping my legs at about 9-10 miles per hour for this song, simply by following the beat.

It is now time to turn it up a notch so the next song is Billy Jean. Legs are pumping now at 11 miles per hour.

Still keeping to 11 mph but adding arm pumping to it with The Way You Make Me Feel. Not feeling it yet? Turn the bike tension up a couple of notches.....

Okay have worked up a sweat now and body is warm. Time to turn up the heat. Pumping legs at 12-13 mph now and arms are going too. The song is Wanna Be Startin Somethin

And who could ever forget to Beat It!! Push hard now

Keep going and start moving that bod to Don't Stop Till Ya Get Enough

Sweating a lot yet? Should be!

Time to slow back down a bit now so let's Shake Your Body Down To the Ground and pump again at 11 mph.

Drop the arms down and relax still pumping at 11 mph to Thriller.

Finally slow right down and breathe to Human Nature pumping at 9-10 mph/

Congratulations you have just done a 50 or so minutes of cardio . Can you tell. Did you work up a sweat? But doesn't it feel great? Have fun with workouts. Do whatever feels good to you.
