So, I ended up being so exhausted yesterday (and away from the house from 8:30 AM until 9:15PM) that I pretty much just grabbed my computer, climbed into bed, did my reading for the day, uploaded my pictures from yesterday to facebook, logged my food, spun the Spark points wheel and crashed. I ended up not going to sleep until about 11, but still...

Water aerobics this morning was...well, a wee bit of a stretch for my legs. When we were walking towards the shallow end of the pool and back, I could feel the muscles in my legs stretching and pulling. It was a slightly painful, but it was a good kind of pain.

Both yesterday's boot camp video and today's worked the lower half of the body. In today's video, we were supposed to use an exercise ball. Turns out that when I bought my first ball, I bought one that was a size too big. So yesterday while I was shopping for Daniel's birthday presents, I picked up a ball that is supposedly the right size for me.

After having used it tonight, I'm not entirely convinced. It feels waaaaaay too small when I'm holding it and sitting on it. But, I suppose that it's just cuz I'm getting used to it. I sat on the ball, just to test it out. I felt like my knees were going into my chest (although they probably weren't, seeing as my toes would sometimes not be touching the ground when I sat on the other one).

So, I'm thinking I need the in-between size. Is there such a thing as a 60-cm ball?

My picture for today's Project-365 entry is me, attempting to use the foot pump to blow up the ball (yet another workout for my leg, lol). I gave up and started pushing on the bellows-like contraption with my hand.

My daughter and I use the same ball. She's 5' and I'm 5'5". She just deflates it a little when she is going to use it. We decided it's better than having 2 balls to store.

    My fitness ball is 65cm
    The box says
    55cm for 4'8"-5'3"
    65cm for 5'4"-6'
    75cm for 6'-1+

So you must have picked the 55cm ball which is probably the correct size for you. Maybe after you got used to using the larger ball this one just seems to small.

Anyway have a great evening and get some rest. Sandy

What would happen if you deflate your big ball a little bit??
    Just a thought...
