Late Night Eating

Monday, January 11, 2010

Does anybody else have this problem? Later in the day, after work, when I'm comfortable... that's when I want to eat. And it almost seems like eating makes me hungry. Does that even make sense? I even get a lot of fiber now, too. But that's all the time.

What I'm most concerned with right now is how I am SO HUNGRY in the later evening. Any ideas what causes this, or how to fix it? Today I tried saving most of my calories for that part of the day. I only went over a little bit... I don't get it?

    Good thoughts here.

I'm thinking my night eating cravings are emotions, looking to instantiate themselves. Kind of like ghosts on dios de los muertos.

Well, maybe more like succubi than ghosts, for all the sensual power they wield.

It's too late for me to write on other peoples' blogs...

Well, I absolutely wish you luck! In my last blog (the 2nd one), there's a link to another blog. You might find it extremely helpful. Or you might not :) but what can it hurt? Check it out - in the mean time, I'm going for a big glass of water!

I dont' get it either....I can lay in bed and my stomach is actually growling...and I've had plenty to eat for the day. I heard Oprah one time say that when your stomach is growling in the evening, that's your thighs talking, and they're getting thin. :)
If I'm behaving, I'll drink a glass of water, or a glass of skim milk, or maybe a half of an apple...but when I'm not behaving, I'm raiding the cupboards....I don't know what causes it...for me, most times it's emotions (mostly physical pain) and food has always been my choice of drug. I'm starting over,,,,,again,....and going to use sparkpeople to perhaps get some results this time. Best wishes :)
