okay..never did goals before..

I have been noticing lately all the goals people are setting for themselves. Maybe it's the new year, I don't know, but there are many many lists floating around out there. For some reason I have always thought naaa...I don't need to set any other goals than the big final end result goal of 20 lbs. Okay...I've been doing that for 2 years, and here I am...still using that elusive 'big picture' goal. Hellooooo...newsflash..it's not working! And really now...I mean really Patty...who have you been kidding? I don't do well with big picture , overwhelming goals! When I had huge projects in nursing school, or a major exam..I would first panic and and think how the hell can I do all that?? But then, after a few deep breaths, and maybe a glass of wine..ha!.. I would remember that I needed to break it down..do it bit by bit. Finish one part, and go on to the next until it was complete. That's how I do it best. Soooo...yeah. That's my new plan here. I'm setting goals. I'm coming up with rewards. By God I think she's got it!!!
So without much ado...here they are..ta da!!!!
155...get a pedicure (gotta start small)
150...get a manicure (NEVER do this...it will be a treat)
145...check out which jeans in my closet fit-by now some of my former/wish jeans should be close, then trash the jeans I've been wearing for 2 years!!!
140...buy a really awesome dress and heels-because at this point I'll be sooo close
135...at goal weight-new jeans and t-shirt-yep..a skinny t-shirt. And maybe even a new sexy Vicki's Secret push up bra with a matching thong. Yeah...definitely!
And finally..the goal of all goals...the bikini I've been dying to put on for way too long. And a night on the town feeling like myself again. That will be the best goal/gift ever.
Maintain for 3 months...pitch all the tunic/preggers looking crap in my closet!!
Low carb, starting new with 2 more weeks of 20 carbs or less
Stay right around 1200 calories
Work out at least 4 days out of the week..try for 5 or 6
Focus on weight training, with some cardio for heart health
Drink the water
Limit alcohol to one night a week
